Google’s SynthID Gains Momentum with Major Tech Adoption

According to Pushmeet Kohli of Google DeepMind, the technology was engineered to withstand common manipulations such as compression, cropping, and rotation. “A technology like this will always be attacked,” said Kohli. “There was a lot of research that we did in making SynthID robust to different kinds of transformations.”

With the ability to detect AI-generated content through the Gemini app, SynthID is now a powerful tool in the fight against misinformation. As adoption grows, it could set a new industry standard for transparency in AI-generated media.
